Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania (Kilimanjaro International Airport / Arusha Airport)
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be warmly welcomed by a Leiyo Safe Safari representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. After check-in, your safari guide will brief you on the upcoming adventure, covering park highlights, wildlife safety, and safari vehicle protocols. You can spend the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel or exploring nearby cultural sites and markets.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu
After breakfast, you will be picked up at 07:00 AM for the drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately 140 km from Arusha. Embark on a full-day game drive through this magnificent park, famous for its enormous elephant populations, ancient baobabs, and rich birdlife. Your expert guide will help you spot lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and more, while explaining the park’s ecology and wildlife behaviors. Following the game drive, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay at a comfortable lodge.

Day 3: Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
Depart your lodge early, around 06:30 AM, to reach the Ngorongoro Crater during the morning hours when wildlife is most active. Explore the crater floor, home to a high concentration of animals, including buffaloes, elephants, lions, hippos, zebras, and antelopes. Lucky visitors may spot the endangered black rhinoceros. Lunch will be served at a scenic picnic site beside the crater, after which you may continue exploring before returning to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Karatu – Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha / Moshi
Depart the lodge at 07:00 AM and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a game drive through the park’s lush forests, open plains, and along the shimmering lake, spotting elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, and flamingos. After your safari, enjoy lunch and drive back to Arusha or Moshi, stopping at curio shops to purchase local crafts and souvenirs before arriving at your hotel.

Day 5: Departure & Optional Arusha Town Tour
Relax at your hotel in the morning. If time permits, take a short Arusha town tour to visit markets, handicraft shops, or enjoy a cup of Tanzanian coffee. You will then be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) for your onward flight.
