Day 0: Arrival Day
Upon arrival in Tanzania, you will be welcomed by a Leiyos Safari representative. This safari can start from either Arusha Town or Dar es Salaam. Guests arriving in Dar es Salaam will take a domestic flight to Arusha, where they will meet their safari guide and receive a briefing about the upcoming adventure.
Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at your hotel, explore Arusha Town, or prepare for your safari. Overnight accommodation will be in Arusha.

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful wildlife destinations. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife.
Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. During your safari, you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, and numerous bird species. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife throughout the year, making it an excellent location for game viewing.
In the late afternoon, proceed to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Arusha
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park. Early morning is one of the best times to observe predators and other wildlife as they begin their day.
Following the game drive, depart Tarangire and return to Arusha with a packed lunch or lunch en route. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport depending on your travel arrangements.

Departure Day
Depending on your onward travel plans, departure transfers can be arranged to either Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA). Guests departing from Dar es Salaam can take a domestic flight from Arusha to Dar es Salaam for their international connection.
